About Us
Dundee Pharmacy is an independent family owned pharmacy. We have been serving our community for over 30 years. We are located in Northbrook, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago.
David Macklin and his wife Ruth started the Pharmacy in 1968. Dave worked there practically everyday until he retired in 1999. Dave died in 2001, but not before he made a huge impact on the community of Northbrook. He was loved by many and touched many lives.
His legacy continues as two of his three sons, Neil and Larry, both registered pharmacists, now operate the pharmacy. They continue to give the same individual personalized help. Neil has been here at the pharmacy since 1979 and Larry has been here since 1986.
Bob Englander R.Ph joined the Dundee Pharmacy family about 14 years ago. His high level of professionalism and expertise is appreciated by all.
Neil's wife, Gail, a registered nurse also works at the pharmacy. Gail runs our new department, The Breastfeeding Center. She is here to help new families in the community get off to the right start. Gail is a Lactation Specialist.
Dundee Pharmacy has expanded our home health department. We are happy to help you select wheelchairs, canes, bathroom safety equipment and much more. You can trust Dundee Pharmacy to consistently offer high quality products and expert help.
